We are building the world's first open, comparable dataset on music ecosystems, country by country — a resource for governments, development institutions, and investors to benchmark policy, quantify economic potential, and identify where investment in music infrastructure can generate the greatest return.
We started in Africa, where the opportunity is greatest, and the data gap is widest: the portal now covers all 55 African countries, along with 10 additional nations, for a total of 65 territories. With further investment and partnership, we will expand it everywhere.
